Activating or deactivating

timer

1Press TIMER repeatedly to activate or deac-
tivate the timer.
➜ appears when timer is on.
➜ disappears when timer is off.
Helpful hints:
–The function of switching timer on or off is
available in both standby mode and active
mode.

Setting sleep timer

You can set a certain period of time after
which the set switches to standby mode
automatically.
1Press SLEEP repeatedly to select the desire
period of time (in minute).Selection is as fol-
lows:
➜SL:90->SL:60->SL:45->SL:30->SL:15-
>SL:00.
➜appears.
2When you select SL:00,the sleep timer is
turned off.
➜disappears.

AUX IN

You can listen to the sound of the connect-
ed external device through your AE2790.
1Press SOURCE once or more to select
AUX IN mode.
➜is displayed.
2To av oid noise distortion, turn down the vol-
ume on your external device.
3To adjust the sound and volume ,use the
sound controls on your external device and
AE2790.
Clock/Timer AUX IN
