[Disc Menu] - Select a language for disc menu .
Note
For some DVDs, the subti tle or audio languag e can only be changed fr om the disc menu. •
For a language that is not listed, select • [Others]. Check the li st of language codes (see “ Language Code”),
and then enter the res pective languag e code. (Refer to “Setup” > “General setup” > “Pl ay a locked disc”
for how to enter the 4-di git code)
[Parental Control] - Select a rating level to r estrict the play of dis cs to children. These dis cs must be
recorded with rati ng levels.
Note
To play a DVD disc that has a rating lev el higher than your set ting, enter the p assword first . (Refer to •
“Setup” > “General setup” > “Play a locked disc” for det ails)
The rating levels are co untry-depe ndent. To allow all discs to b e played, select
• [8 Adult].
Some discs have rating s printed on but are n ot recorded with r atings. This fun ction has no effec t on such
•
discs.
[PBC] - Enable or disable the PBC ( playback control) featur e.
[Password] - Change the password for playing d iscs that are locked or res tricted with rat ing levels.
