Descaling

Regular descaling will prolong the life of the appliance.

When you descale the Kettle, you can also descale the filter at the same time by simply leaving it in the appliance.

Depending on the hardness of the water, small spots may appear on the heating elements. Scale build up is perfectly normal. Scale is harmless, but left unattended it can hinder optimal Kettle performance. De-scale regularly.

1Fill the Kettle with water up to three-quarters of the MAX capacity in the water window, press the ON (l) button, and bring the water to a boil.

2After the Kettle has switched OFF (O), add white vinegar (8%) up to the MAX level in the water indicator.

3Leave the solution in the Kettle overnight.

4Empty the Kettle and rinse the inside thoroughly.

5Fill the Kettle with clean water, press the ON (l) button, and boil the water.

6Empty the Kettle and rinse it with clean water again.

Repeat this procedure if there is still some scale in the Kettle.
