11 Troubleshooting
If MIX is not working properly or the display
freezes, you can reset it without losing data:
How do I reset MIX?
Insert a pen tip or othe r object into the •
reset hole located at the bo ttom of MIX.
Hold until the player shut s down.
If the reset option is unsucce ssful, follow •
the steps how to recover MIX w ith the
Philips Device Manager:
1 On your computer, select Star t >
Programs > Philips > Philips MP3 p layer
> GoGear SA2MXX Device M anager to
launch the Philips Device Man ager.
2 Turn off MIX before you continue .
3 Press and hold the volume bu tton + while
you connect MIX to your compu ter.
4 Keep holding the key until the P hilips
Device Manager acknowled ges MIX and
enters the recover y mode.
5 On the computer, click the Repai r
button and follow the ins tructions of the
Philips Device Manager to compl ete the
recovery process.
6 When the recovery is comp leted,
disconnect MIX from you r computer.
7 Restart MIX .
