HOW TO USE THE BABY MONITOR

Monitoring baby’s sounds

To use the units to listen to your baby:

•Position the Baby unit at least 1 metre away from the baby so that the microphone (A–4) can pick up baby’s sounds.

•Set the channel switch to the same position on both units.

•Set the mode switch on the baby unit (A–6) to VOICE; the red POWER light (A–1) lights.

•Move away from the Baby unit with the Parent unit.

•Switch on the Parent unit using the Volume control/Off (B–4) and adjust the volume to the level you prefer; the red POWER light (B–1) lights.

•The green TRANSMIT light (A–2) lights when a sound is picked up by Baby unit.

Talk pushbutton

To use the Baby unit manually to talk to the Parent unit:

•Set the mode switch on the Baby unit (A–6) to OFF.

•Switch on the Parent unit using the Volume control/Off (B–4) and adjust it to about mid- range; the red POWER light (B–1) lights.

•On the Baby unit, press and hold the TALK pushbutton (A–3) and talk clearly into the microphone (A–4). Release the TALK pushbutton when you are finished.
