Amplier

Antenna
A device, such as a rod or wire , which picks up
a received radio frequ ency signal or radiate s a

Coaxial
A single copper conductor, sur rounded with
a layer of insulation, covered by a su rrounding
coppershieldandnally,aninsu latingjacket.
An unbalanced transmi ssion line with const ant
impedance. In audio, thi s type is commonly
used for low level, line signals t erminated in
RCA connectors.

FM (Frequency Modulation)
In radio broadcas ting: a method of modulatio n
in which the frequenc y of the carrier volta ge
is varied with the fre quency of the modulatio n
voltage.

HDTV (High-Denitio n Television)
It is a digital televisio n broadcasting sys tem
with higher resolut ion than traditiona l

or SDTV). HDTV is digit ally broadcast;
the earliest implementations used analog
broadcasting, bu t today digital televisio n
(DTV) signals are use d, requiring less
bandwidth due to digit al video compression .
