Unregister the handsets
1 If two han dsets share the same ba se
stations, you ca n unregister a handse t
with another hand set.
2 Press menu .
3 Selec t [ADVANCED SET] >
[UNREGISTER], then press [SELECT] to
conrm.
4 Enter th e system PIN. (Th e preset PIN
is 0000). Pres s [CLEAR] to remov e the
number.
5 Selec t the handset number to be
unregistered.
6 Press [O K] to conrm.
The handset is unregistered. »
Tip
The handset numb er displays beside th e •
handset name in st andby mode.
Restore default settings
You can reset your phone settings to the
original factory settings.
1 Press menu .
2 Selec t [ADVANCED SET] > [RESET],
then press [SELECT ] to conrm.
The handset displays a conrmation »
request.
3 Press [O K] to conrm.
All settings are reset. »
The welcome screen displays. »

13 Advanced settings
Register the handsets
You can register additional handsets to the base
station. The base station can register up to 5
handsets.
Auto registration
1 Place the ha ndset on the base stat ion.
The handset detects the base station »
and start to register automatically.
Registration is completed in less than 2 »
minutes. The base station automatically
assigns a handset number to the handset.
Manual registration
If auto registr ation fails, regis ter your handset
manually to the base s tation.
1 Press menu on t he handset.
2 Selec t [ADVANCED SET] >
[REGISTER], then press [SELEC T] to
conrm.
3 Press an d hold on the base station for
5 seconds until you hear a con rmation
beep.
4 Enter th e system PIN. Press [C LEAR] to
make correctio ns.
5 Press [O K] to conrm the PIN .
Registration is completed in less than 2 »
minutes. The base automatically assigns
a handset number to the handset.
Note
If the PIN is incorr ect or no base is found •
within a cert ain period, your ha ndset displays
a notication mes sage. Repeat the ab ove
procedure if reg istration fai ls.
Note
The preset PIN is 0 000. No change c an be •
made on it.
