To change the operational mode of the Philips Institutional TV, use the RG4172BKor RC2573GR in setup mode (press
TV SETUPon the RG4172BK), and enter the following keystroke sequence: 0 2 4 9 9 5 Menu. Select the desired mode
from the Operational Mode menu. IMPORTANTNOTE: IFYOU CHANGE THE OPERATIONAL MODE TO CONSUMER
MODE, YOU MUST POWER THE TELEVISION OFFAND BACK ON TO COMPLETE THE MODE CHANGE.
NOTE: ONCE THE TELEVISION IS IN CONSUMER MODE, DO NOT USE THE SETUPREMOTE TO ACTIVATE COM-
MERCIAL FEATURES. OTHERWISE, THECOMMERCIAL FEATURESWILL AFFECT CONSUMER OPERATION. IT WILL
THEN BE NECESSARY TO PLACE THE TELEVISION BACK INTO COMMERCIAL MODE, THEN INTO CONSUMER MODE,
AND THEN POWERED OFF AGAIN TO PROPERLY PLACE THE TELEVISION BACK INTO CONSUMER MODE.
