Setting the language
Youcan select the language for the on-screen display (OSD).
Thesmall display on the video recorder will only show english
text.
aSwitchon the TV set. If required, select the programme
numberfor the video recorder.
bPressthe MENU buttonon the remote control. The main
menuwill appear.
cSelectthe line ’INSTALLATION’ with the P=or
P;buttonand confirm with the Pbutton.
dSelectthe line ’LANGUAGE’ and confirm with the P
button.
eSelectyour language with the P=or P;button and
confirmwith the OK button.
fToend, press the MENU button.
Setting the country
Tocall up the specific settings for your country, you must
installthe country.
aSwitchon the TV set. If required, select the programme
numberfor the video recorder.
bPressthe MENU buttonon your remote control. The main
menuwill appear.
cSelectthe line ’INSTALLATION’ with the P=or
P;buttonand confirm with the Pbutton.
dSelectthe line ’COUNTRY’ and confirm with the OK
button.
eSelectthe country you are in with the P=or P;
button.If your country doesn’t show up, select ’OTHERS’.
fConfirmwith the OK button.
gToend, press the MENU button.
Setting the time and date
Ifa TV channel which transmits TXT/PDC is stored under
programmenumber ’P01’, time and datewill automatically be
takenfrom the TXT/PDC information.
Ifthe time in the video recorder display is not correct or if
’--:--’appears in the display, please set the clock manually.
aSwitchon the TV set. If required, select the programme
numberfor the video recorder.
bPressthe MENU buttonon the remote control. The main
menuwill appear.
cSelectthe line ’INSTALLATION’ with the P=or
P;buttonand confirm with the Pbutton.
dSelectthe line ’TIME/DATE’ with the P=or P;
buttonand confirm with the Pbutton.
