orFM.

Showsto which frequency the tuner is
tuned.
3Stereo(5) indicator
Showsthat the frequency selected is being
broadcastin stereo.
4Presetnumber indicator
Showswhat preset has been selected.
1 PressSOURCE to select the tuner.
2 UseVOLUME to adjust the sound level.
Rotateto increase or decrease the volume.
3 PressBAND to select a band.
PressBAND until the desired band is dis-
played,F1,F2,F3 for FM or AM.
4 Toperform manual tuning, press cor
dwithquick presses.
Thefrequencies move up or down step by
step.
5 Toperform seek tuning, press and hold
cordfor about one second and release.
Thetuner will scan the frequencies untila
broadcaststrong enough for good reception is
found.
#Youcan cancel seek tuning by pressing either
cordwith a quick press.
#Ifyou press and hold cor dyou can skip
broadcastingstations. Seek tuning starts as soon
asyou release the buttons.
Note
Whenthe frequency selected is being broadcast
instereo the stereo (5) indicator will light.
Storing and recallingbroadcast frequencies
Ifyou press any of the preset tuning buttons
16youcan easily store up to six broadcast
frequenciesfor later recall with the touch of a
button.
%Whenyou find a frequency that you
wantto store in memory press a preset
tuningbutton 16 and hold until the preset
numberstops flashing.
Thenumber you have pressed willflash in the
presetnumber indicator and then remain lit.
Theselected radio station frequency has been
storedin memory.
Thenext time you press the same preset tun-
ingbutton 16the radio station frequency is
recalledfrom memory.
Notes
!Upto 18 FM stations, 6 for each of the three
FMbands, and 6 AM stations can be stored in
memory.
!Youcan also use aand bto recall radio sta-
tionfrequencies assigned to preset tuning
buttons16.
