1 STANDBY/ON button

Press to switch the player on or to put in standby (pages 21, 25).

2Disc tray

When loading a disc, place it in the disc tray with the label side facing up (pages 21, 25).

3DISC buttons

Use to select discs in the player directly (page 21).

97 (stop) button

Press to stop playback. Pressing once enables playback to resume from a point shortly before the location where it stopped. Pressing twice causes the disc to return to the beginning of the disc if playback starts again (page 25).

0Á ¢ (forward) button

Press to advance to chapters/tracks. Press and hold to perform fast-forward scanning (page 24).

4 0 OPEN/CLOSE button

Press to open and close the disc tray (pages 21, 25).

5DISC SKIP button

During playback, press to start playing the next disc in the player.

If the disc tray is open while no disc is playing, the tray rotates one disc space.

If the disc tray was opened using the EXCHANGE button, then pressing DISC SKIP rotates the disc tray two disc spaces (pages 21, 22).

-4 1 (reverse) button

Press to go back to previous chapters/tracks. Press and hold to perform reverse playback scanning (pages 24).

=Display window

Displays system information (page 10).

~Remote sensor

Point the remote control toward the remote sensor to operate the player (page 8).

6EXCHANGE button

Press during playback to open the disc tray without stopping playback. Press again to close the disc tray (page 22).

73 (play) button

Press to start or resume playback (pages 21, 25).

88 (pause) button

!RANDOM button

Press to play discs, titles, chapters or tracks in random order (page 45).

@CD MODE button and indicator

Switches CD mode on/off. The indicator lights when on (page 41).
