About Rechargeable Battery Pack
Your portable DVD player comes with a lithium ion rechargeable battery that attaches to the bottom of the player. Your new battery should be fully charged before it is used for the first time. Charging time is normally about 5 hours. A fully charged battery delivers about 3 hours of use, but playing time varies from disc to disc. We recommend you only charge the battery when the battery is down to its last hour of charge or completely out of power. Unnecessary charging of the Battery Pack will reduce service life. If the battery is not used it will automatically discharge gradually within one month.
If you don’t plan on using the battery for an extended period of time, discharge the battery and keep it in a dry and cool place.
If the battery loses power during play, stop playing the DVD, otherwise damage may occur.
Working conditions and precautions for the battery

•Never charge the battery for more than 8 hours. Detach battery immediately after charging is complete. When charging the battery pack, the light on the battery will turn red, when the charging is complete, the light will turn green.
