warranttheemissioncontrolsystemonyour
lawnandgardenequipmentenginefor thepe- riods of time listed below provided therehas
beennoabuse, neglect,or improper mainte- nanceofyourlawnandgardenequipmenten-
gine.Your emissioncontrol systemincludes
parts such as the carburetor and theignition system.Whereawarrantableconditionexits,

and garden equipment engine at no cost to you. Expenses covered under warranty in-
cludediagnosis,partsandlabor.MANUFAC- TURER’SWARRANTYCOVERAGE: Ifany emissions related part on your engine (as
listed under Emissions Control Warranty Parts List) is defectiveor adefectinthemate-
rialsorworkmanshipoftheenginecausesthe
failure of such an emission related part, the partwillberepairedor replacedby POULAN/
WEED EATER. OWNER’S WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES: As the lawn and gar-
den equipment engine owner, you are re-
sponsiblefor theperformanceoftherequired maintenance listed inyour Owner’s Manual.
POULAN/WEED EATER recommends that
youretainallreceipts coveringmaintenance on your lawn and garden equipmentengine,
but POULAN/WEED EATER cannot deny warranty solely for the lack ofreceipts or for
your failure to ensure the performance of all
scheduled maintenance. As the lawn and gardenequipmentengineowner, youshould
be aware thatPOULAN/WEED EATER may
deny youwarranty coverageifyour lawnand garden equipment engine or a part of it has
failedduetoabuse,neglect,impropermainte-
nance,unapprovedmodifications,or theuse ofparts not madeor approvedby theoriginal
equipmentmanufacturer. You areresponsi- ble for presenting your lawn and garden
equipmentenginetoaPOULAN/WEEDEAT-
ER authorized repair center as soon as a problem exists. Warranty repairs should be
completed in a reasonable amount of time,
