Al acercarse a una pendiente, inclínese un poco hacia delante (fig. 2 y 2A). Este desplazamiento del centro de gravedad hacia el frente mejora la estabilidad del scooter.

NOTA: Al andar por rampas, si suelta la palanca aceleradora mientras avanza, el scooter podría retro- ceder aprox. 30.48 cm (1 pié) antes de activar el freno. Si suelta la palanca aceleradora mientras da marcha atrás, el scooter podría retroceder aprox. 91.44 cm (3 piés) antes de activar el freno.

TOMAR CURVAS

Velocidades excesivas en curvas pueden ocasionar descompensaciones y vuelcos. Los factores que pueden provocar un vuelco son, entre otros: la velocidad al tomar una curva, el ángulo de giro, las superficies irregulares, los firmes inclinados, el pasar de una zona de tracción baja a otra de tracción alta (por ej. de un campo de hierba a un firme pavimentado, sobre todo a gran velocidad y girando), y los cambios bruscos de dirección. No se recomiendan velocidades altas al tomar una curva. Si teme volcar en una curva, reduzca la velocidad y el ángulo de giro (por ej. abriendo el ángulo de giro) para impedir que el scooter vuelque.

¡ADVERTENCIA! Cuando tome curvas cerradas, reduzca la velocidad y mantenga un centro de gravedad estable. Si está circulando a gran velocidad, evite tomar curvas demasiado cerradas. Esto reduce la posibilidad de vuelco o caída.

INFORMACIÓN ACERCA DE LOS FRENOS

Su scooter está equipado con dos potentes sistemas de frenado:

Regenerativo: utiliza la electricidad para ralentizar rápidamente el vehículo cuando la palanca de mando vuelve a su posición central.

Frenos de disco de estacionamiento: se activan mecánicamente una vez que los frenos regenerativos han reducido la velocidad del vehículo, o cuando falta la alimentación del sistema, independientemente del motivo.
