Footrest/Leg Rest Removal

The Swing-away Footrests (SFR) and Elevating Leg Rests (ELR) can be moved or removed to aid in trans- fers or transporting your wheelchair.

To move the SFR or ELR to the side:

1. Push the release lever back. See figure 14 or 16.

2. Move the SFR or ELR aside.

3. Repeat for the other side if necessary.

To remove the SFR or ELR:

1. Push the release lever back. See figure 14 or 16.

2.Move the SFR or ELR to the side.

3.Pull the SFR or ELR up.

4.Repeat for the other side if necessary.

Swing-Away Footrest (SFR) Length

You can change the SFR length between 14-18 in. (35.56-45.72 cm) in 1-in. (2.54-cm) increments. This length is measured from the SFR foot plate to the top of the SFR. See figure 15.

To change the SFR length:

1.Rotate the lock lever downward to the unlocked position.

2.Adjust the SFR to the desired length while squeezing the release pins.

3.Rotate the lock lever upward to the locked position.

4.Repeat for the other side.

Elevating Leg Rest (ELR) Length

You can change the ELR length between 15-19 in. (38.1-48.26 cm). This length is measured from the ELR foot plate to the top of the ELR. See figure 16.

To change the ELR length:

1. Loosen the bolt head on the underside of the ELR.

NOTE: You may need to tap the bold head to release the wedge clamp.

2.Adjust the ELR to the desired length.

3.Tighten the bolt head.

4.Repeat the procedure for the other side.
