PROBLEM: The displays of the console do not function properly

SOLUTION: a. Lower the treadmill to the lowest incline level. Unplug the power cord from the front of the treadmill and remove the key from the console. Remove a Hood Screw (45) from each side of the Motor Hood (4). Carefully remove the Motor Hood by pulling the Hood in the indicated direction.

Locate the Reed Switch (13) and the Magnet (126) on the left side of the Pulley (29). Turn the Pulley until the Magnet is aligned with the Reed Switch. Loosen the Reed Switch Screw (12), and slide the Reed Switch as close as possible to the Magnet; make sure that the Magnet will not hit the Reed Switch. Retighten the Screw. Re-attach the hood, and run the treadmill for a few minutes to check for a correct speed reading.
