Charging the battery
Thank you for buying the ne w PBT30M Headse t with Bluetoot h wireless tech nology. Before
first time use, it is impor tant to charge th e battery for 8 hou rs.
Turning on the Headset
While the Headset is powe red down, press a nd hold S1 until bl ue LED turns on. A low tone
followed by a high tone wil l indicate that t he PBT30M is powe red up. Afterward, b lue LED
will flash every 3 second s.
Turning off the Headset
While the Headset is powe red up, press and h old S1 until red LE D turns on. A high tone
followed by a low tone will i ndicate that th e PBT30M is power ed down.

Adjustin g Speake r Volume :
When a call is o ngoin g, pres sing an d relea sing S2 w ill inc rease the spe aker vo lume and
pressing and relea sing S3 wi ll d ecreas e th e spe aker volum e on the Headse t. Th ere is a
key tone t o indi cate v olume increa se or decrea se. Ho wever, a warn ing to ne wil l be h eard
when the vol ume leve l reach es its ma ximum o r minimu m.
To wear the head set
Make sure th e microp hone is p ointi ng towa rds your m outh.
Transferring Calls (For Nokia 3650 or equ ivalent models)
When you are in session, calls can be tra nsferred from the Bluet ooth phone to the HS and from
the HS to the Bluetooth phone.
To transfer a call from the Bluetooth phone to the H S: press S1 once, the call wi ll be
transferred to the HS.
To transfer a call from HS to the Bluetooth phone, p lease follow the operat ing instructions of
your phone.
Muting the microphone
To mute the microphone during an active call pre ss both S2 and S3 buttons sim ultaneously for
about a second and the microphone wil l be muted. A periodic beep tone will be h eard when the
mute function is active.
To end the mute function: When the microphone is m uted, press both S2 and S3 bu ttons
simultaneously. Mute function is ended a nd the periodic beep ton e will stop.
Ending Calls
While a call is in session on the Headset p ressing S1 will disconn ect the call. After the call is
disconnected, the blue LED will fla sh normally again.
To make a new call using voice dial
Make sure the voice dialing functio n is set up in the mobile phone a nd it is within the range of
the Headset. Press S1 on the PBT30M shor tly. There is a beep tone on the heads et.Then use
your recorded voice commands ( eg. By s aying the name of the perso n). The call will be
connected in a few seconds.

Headset in Pairi ng Mode
Make sure the PBT3 0M is fully ch arged and th e chargin g cable is dis connecte d from it bef ore
pairing starts . While the PB T30M is pow ered off, pre ss and hold S 1 until red an d blue LEDs
flashing alter nately. It ind icates th at the Heads et is in Pairi ng Mode.
Follow the opera ting instr uctions f or your Blue tooth mobi le phone to st art the pai ring proce ss.
Typically, this has to be d one by goin g to a setup or co nnect men u and then sel ecting the
options to disco ver Blueto oth devic es. Blueto oth may take se veral se conds to est ablish a
connection.
Your phone's displa y should in dicate tha t it has found t he “PBT30 M” headset a nd asks if you
want to pair it. You shou ld confirm t his. The pho ne's displ ay would pr ompt you for a p asskey
or PIN. Enter a sequ ence of “000 0”.
The headset LED wi ll flash blu e every 3 sec onds, indi cating suc cessful pa iring. Us ually the
phone will also as k whether yo u want to cha nge the head set's name . We recomme nd to keep
the default name PB T30M inst ead of chan ging it.
If pairing does no t occur as exp ected:Tur n off both the he adset an d the phone an d wait for 10
seconds. Turn on the he adset an d phone agai n and repeat a ll steps fr om beginni ng. Pairin g
does authorize t he devices l ike mobil e phones and he adsets wi th each oth er and only ne eds
to be performed on ce.
Establishing Bluetooth Link
After successfully pairing the PBT30M and the mobile phone, you may need to establish a Bluetooth
link between them according to the operation manual of your mobile phone. To establish the link, press
S1 shortly. Use Nokia 6130i as an example, the mobile phone will show “Do you accept PBT30M
request for connection?” Select YES to establish the link. You are ready to make and answer calls on
the Headset. For other phones, please follow the operation manual to establish the link. You are ready
to make and answer calls on the Headset.
Please note:
If the headset is powered down, turning on the headset will auto reconnect the last used device. If the
headset is disconnected but powered on, press S1 shortly to connect the link again. If there is
abnormal loss of link happened (e.g. out of range), the headset will automatically try to reconnect the
mobile phone several times.
If the mobile phone cannot locate the network signal (e.g. out of reach) , alert tone will be heard every
5 seconds in the headset.
Not every mobile phone supports no network signal alert feature.
If there is no Bluetooth connection for more than 1 hour, the headset will switch off automatically.
Answering Incoming Calls
When you wear the headset, an incoming call is present, the PBT30M headset will ring. Pressing S1
will answer the call.
Attention: Some phones put the Bluetooth connection into Standby Mode if it has not been used for
some time. When there is phone call in, only the mobile phone rings and it will take a few seconds to
transfer the call to headset. You have to wait until you hear the ring tone in headset. If you press S1 to
take the call before you hear the ring tone in headset, the headset will try to establish Bluetooth
connection. This will cause connection conflicts between mobile phone and headset.
Low-batt ery ind icati on
The PBT30M L ED will f lash re d inste ad of blu e when th e batte ry is low. T here wi ll also a
short beep p eriod icall y. After th is indi catio n you sti ll have u p to 15 min utes ta lk time . When
the batter y level i s too low, t he Head set wil l autom atica lly pow er off. I t canno t be powe red on
again unle ss the ch arger i s conne cted or t he batt ery is su ffici ently c harge d.
Battery re charg ing
To recharge th e batte ry, put th e heads et on pho ne hold er. Duri ng rech argin g, the LE D
shows a stea dy red li ght.
When the bat tery is f ully ch arged , the ind icato rs of red l ight wi ll be off .
