Entrées

Chaque canal a une entrée TRS 6 mm et XLR (femelle) équilibrée. Les connecteurs XLR et TRS pour chaque canal sont câblés en parallèle et peuvent être utilisés pour brancher en série un signal d’entrée sur des amplificateurs supplémentaires.

L’impédance d’entrée est de 20 kilo-ohms (équilibrée) ou de 10 kilo-ohms (non équilibrée). Les entrées XLR et TRS sont connectées par des câbles standard et peuvent être changées rapidement. La légende des broches se trouve sur le panneau arrière. Ne pas essayer de brancher plus d’un signal d’entrée sur un canal donné.

Les connexions équilibrées sont recommandées pour diminuer le ronflement et les interférences, surtout avec de longs câbles. Les branchements non équilibrés peuvent être adaptés à des câbles courts. L’impédance de source du signal doit être inférieure à 600 ohms.

Entrées non équilibrées : connecter à la fiche comme illustré. Avec un connecteur XLR, les broches 3 et 1 doivent être connectées avec un cavalier comme illustré. Avec un connecteur TRS, la bague et le manchon doivent être connectés avec un cavalier. Avec un connecteur TS, le manchon servira de cavalier lors de son insertion dans la prise d’entrée.

Les modèles PLX 1104 et PLX 1804 peuvent mettre en parallèle le signal d’entrée aux deux canaux au moyen d’un cavalier d’un canal à l’autre :

•Connecter le signal d’entrée à l’un des connecteurs d’entrée du canal 1.

•Connecter un cavalier du connecteur inutilisé du canal 1 à l’un des connecteurs d’entrée du canal 2.
