press and hold the NEW GAME bu tton until the
current game clears, and th en I will ask if you are
READY to play. If you’re ready, press the YES

ten picture cards for help.
Once you think or choose an objec t, I will ask you a
series of five questions that beg ins with “Is it... Ani-
mal?...Vegetable?...Mineral...Other, or Unknown?”
Use the LEFT SCROLL and RIGHT SCR OLL buttons
to toggle between the options. Whe n making your
selection, keep in mind that Ani mal, Vegetable and
Mineral each has a broader me aning. Consider the
object you have selected and think o f its primary
substance. For example, if you are t hinking about a
“wool sweater,” you should say, “Animal,” because
it’s made of wool, which comes from she ep, which
are animals. You should answer “Mine ral” for an
“arrow” because most of its par ts are made of metal
and “Vegetable” for a “T-shirt,” becau se it’s made of
cotton, which is a plant.
There are two ways to select among t he first five
options (Animal, Vegetable, M ineral, Other or Un-
known). First, you can answe r each question with
YES or NO as I advance to the next questio n. Or,
you can toggle between these five opti ons by press-
ing the LEFT SCROLL or RIGHT SCRO LL buttons to
