•Match the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside the battery compart- ment.

•Always use fresh batteries of the required size and type.

USING THE RADIO

Telescoping Antenna — ex-

tend for the best FM reception

Note: The AM antenna is built-in. For the best AM re- ception, rotate the radio.

TUNING — rotate to select your favorite station

FM/AM — switch to select the band

VOLUME — rotate to turn the radio on and off and ad- just the volume
