7.Set OFF/E-BASS(Extended Bass) to E- BASS to emphasize the bass sound. Set it back to OFF for normal bass sound.

8.Set OFF/ON to OFF to turn off the radio.

Changing the AM Band Step-Rate

Your radio’s AM band is preset to tune in 10 KHz increments — the standard step-rate for radio frequencies in the United States. If you travel to other countries where the step-rate is 9 KHz (Europe, for example), you can set your radio to tune in that increment.

Follow these steps to change your radio’s AM band step-rate.

1.Open the battery compartment and remove the batteries.
