INSTALLING BATTERIES

Your radio uses three AA batteries. For the best performance, we recommend alkaline batteries such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-552.

1.Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction indicated by the arrow.

2.Insert the batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside the battery compartment.

3.Replace the battery compartment cover.

Notes: Replace the batteries when the radio's sound weakens.

If you plan not to use the radio for a month or more, remove the batteries.
