INSTALLING BATTERIES

Use a flat-head screwdriver to loosen the screw in the battery compartment cover, then lift open the cover.

• Match the polarity symbols (+ and –)

marked inside.

• Always use fresh batteries of the

required size.

• Do not mix old and new batteries,

different types of batteries (stan-

dard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or

Note: The radio is water resistant, not waterproof. Do not hang it where water can wash over it.

VOLUME — rotate to adjust the volume

Hanging Strap — lets you hang the radio in a convenient place, such as over the shower head

Tuning — rotate to select your favorite station

AM/FM — switch to select the desired band

Built-In Stand/Washcloth

Hanger — behind the radio;

stand it on a firm surface or swing it down to hold a washcloth
