Set RINGER to HI in a noisy room. Set it to

LOW in a quiet room.

Switch to TONE or PULSE to match the type of service you have. If you have pulse (rotary) service, you can switch to TONE during a call to use tone services.

Press HOLD to hang up the handset without disconnecting the call. To release a call from hold, lift the handset.

Press FLASH in place of the switchook for special services such as call waiting.

1.Pull out.

2.Rotate 180°.

Press REDIAL to dial the last number dialed (up to 31 tone or 32 pulse digits).

Press to disconnect a call.

Note: The phone company can charge you for the instal- lation of the necessary jacks. The USOC number of the jacks to be installed is RJ11C (RJ11W for a wall jack).
