TO RECEIVE
When you are finished talking, release the Talk button to listen to the transmission. The transmit indicator goes out while the unit is receiving.
NOTE: Remember if several family radios are in use, they must all be on the same channel to communicate.
POWER SAVE
Your radio has a unique circuit designed to dramatically extend the life of the batteries. If there is no transmission within 5 seconds, your radio switches to the Power Save mode. The radio is still able to receive transmissions in this mode. The CHANNEL indicator blinks to indicate Power Save is activated.
