Region Management Information

This unit is designed and manufactured to respond to the Region Management Information that is encoded on DVDs. If the region number printed on the DVD does not correspond to the region number of this unit, it cannot play that disc.

Cleaning the Disc

A defective or soiled disc inserted into the unit can cause sound to drop out during playback. Handle the disc by holding its inner and outer edges.

Do NOT touch the surface of the unlabeled side of the disc.

Do NOT stick paper or tape on the surface.

Do NOT expose the disc to direct sunlight or excessive heat.

Clean the disc before playback. Wipe the disc from the center outward with a cleaning cloth.

NEVER use solvents such as benzine or alcohol to clean the disc.

Do NOT use irregular shaped discs (example: heart shaped, octagonal, etc.). They may cause malfunctions.

• DVDs are divided into “titles” and “chapters”. If the disc has more than one movie on it, each movie would be a separate “title”. “Chapters” are sections of titles.

• Audio CDs are divided into “tracks”. A “track” is usually one song on an Audio CD.

Note:

Numbers identify each title, chapter, and track on a disc. Most discs have these numbers recorded on them, but some do not.

Dolby Digital

Dolby Digital is a technology developed by Dolby Laboratories. Soundtracks encoded in Dolby Digital can reproduce from one to 5.1 discrete channels of excellent quality audio.

The unit automatically recognizes the Dolby Digital bitstream and provides a downmix suitable for two-channel listening. An additional Dolby Digital decoder is required for reproduction of the discrete

Note:

When you connect the unit to other equipment, be sure to turn off the power and unplug all of the equipment from the wall outlet before making any connections.

If the external equipment is television and this audio system is close to it, you may experience the interference if the tuner function is selected while the television is working.

Refer to the instruction manual of the connected equipment as well.

USING USB PORT

You can connect a USB flash driveS (not included) to the USB port on the unit to play DivX® movies as well as picture files.

Plug the USB flash drive into the USB port on the unit.

Press SOURCE button to select USB mode.

For operation of file playback on the USB flash drive, please refer to the section “PLAYING DivX®

VIDEO OR PICTURE FILES”.

Note:

It is recommended USB flash drive is plugged when the unit is in STANDBY mode.

It does not support USB harddisk mass storage device, multi-card reader and other USB computer peripheral.

It only supports USB flash drive (FAT32/16 max. capacity 32G bytes, video bitrate is 7Mbps).

Make sure your USB flash drive or SD card is FAT16/FAT32 file system. All other file system will not be supported.

Should any trouble occur, disconnect the AC power cord and refer servicing to a qualified technician.

Main plug is used as the disconnect device, it shall remain readily operable and should not be obstructed during intended use. To be completely disconnected the

Clean the disc.

• There is no disc inside. (“No Disc” appears on the screen).

• Insert the disc correctly with the playback side facing down.

Press SOURCE button to change to memory card mode. It reads the information of the SD card and playing the picture and/or sound files.

a few seconds, then restart the unit.

It is recommended the SD card is plugged when the unit is in STANDBY mode.

If the SD card is oriented incorrectly, it will not go fully into the slot. Do not apply force when inserting the SD card.

To remove the SD card, push the CD card into the slot and then slowly remove your finger, the lock is released and the SD card is pushed out.
