Lights when a tape is in the VCR.

Channel Number or Line Input (“L1” or “L2”)

The channel number or line input is displayed. Press INPUT on the remote to light “L1” or “L2” to record from the VIDEO1 or VIDEO2 and AUDIO1 or AUDIO2 IN jacks on the back or front of

the VCR.

Hi-FiIndicator

Lights when AUDIO PLAY is set to HI-FIor MIX.

Repeat Indicator ( )

Lights when the repeat play is performed.

SAP Indicator

Lights when the station you are tuned to is broadcasting SAP.

STEREO Indicator

Lights when the station you are tuned to is broadcasting stereo.

Tape Speed Indicators (SP, LP, or SLP)

Tape speed. Press SPEED on remote to change.

Time or Time Counter

Press DISPLAY on remote to switch between the current time and elapsed-time counter.

TIMER Indicator

Lights when VCR is set for timer recording and VCR is turned off or XPR recording is performed. Flashes if tape is not inserted.

VCR Indicator (Applies Only to Basic Hookups)

Press TV•VCR to turn on or off.

VCR indicator on: Picture from VCR.

VCR indicator off: Picture from TV channel.
