OPERATION

WARNING:

Do not allow familiarity with tools to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict severe injury.

Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating tools. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes resulting in possible serious injury.

Do not use any attachments or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer of this tool. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended can result in serious personal injury.

APPLICATIONS

You may use this tool for the purpose listed below:

nDriving nuts and bolts using an impact socket

SWITCH TRIGGER

See Figure 2.

To turn the impact wrench ON, depress the switch trigger. To turn it OFF, release the switch trigger.

REVERSIBLE

See Figure 2.

The impact wrench has a rocker-type switch trigger for operating the wrench in forward or reverse. To operate the wrench in a forward direction, depress the lower half of the switch. To operate the wrench in reverse, depress the upper half of the switch.

To stop the wrench, release the switch trigger and allow the motor to come to a complete stop.

TWO-SPEED SWITCH

See Figure 3.

The impact wrench has a two-speed switch designed for operating at LO (1) or HI (2) speeds. A slide switch is lo- cated on top of the wrench to select either LO (1) or HI (2) speed. When using the wrench in the LO (1) speed range, the IPM (Impacts Per Minute) will decrease. When using the wrench in the HI (2) speed range, IPM will increase. Use the LO (1) speed for slow applications and HI (2) speed for fast applications.
