Display backlight
1. When using the radio powered from batteries, the display backlight will be switched on for approximately 12 seconds when any button is pressed.
2. When your radio is powered by theAC mains using the supplied mains adaptor the display backlight will always be on whenever the radio is switched on.
Display backlight dimmer
1.In order to adapt the intensity of the display to suit the ambient room lighting, press the Dimmer button on your radio.

2.There are four dimmer brightness levels available as well as an off setting, should you wish to turn off the dimmer backlight.
