9. Use the channel faders and master fader to adjust the volume to a
comfortable level.
■Erasing Just a Portion of a Recording (Track Erase)
If instead of re-recording the portion where a mistake was made, you simply wish to
erase the mistake, use the following procedure. The result will sound the same as
recording silence over the unwanted section, without using additional disk space.

1. Press [HOME (DISPLAY)]. Home Condition screen will appear.
2. Press [PHRASE / REGION] several times until indicator will light red. The
Track Edit mode will change to “REGION.”
3. Use the TIME/VALUE dial or the SHUTTLE ring to move to the starting
time of the region you wish to erase.
4. Press [IN]. This finalizes the starting time of the region to be erased.
5. Use the TIME/VALUE dial or the SHUTTLE ring to move to the ending
time of the region you wish to erase.
6. Press [OUT]. This finalizes the ending time of the region to be erased.
7. Use [][] to move the cursor in playlist, select the track of the you
wish to erase.
8. Press [ENTER/YES].
9. Press [ERASE] in TRACK EDIT area. Track Erase will be performed from
the IN time to the OUT time.
10. If you wish to erase of other tracks, repeat Steps 3–9.
