m Read all instructions before using your dryer.

. Do Not dry items cleaned in, washed in, soaked in or spotted with gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents, paint, wax or other flammable or explosive substances in the dryer. The fumes can create a fire or explosion. Always hand-wash and air-dry fabrics containing these materials.

. Do Not allow children to play on or inside the dryer. Close supervision of children is necessary when the dryer is used near them.

n Before the dryer is removed from service or discarded, remove the door to prevent accidental entrapment.

. Do Not reach into the dryer if the drum is moving.

. Do Not install or store dryer where it will be exposed to the weather.

. Do Not tamper with controls.

1 You are responsible for making sure that your dryer is installed, repaired and parts replaced by a qualified person.

m Do Not use fabric softeners or products to eliminate static unless recommended by the manufacturer of those products.

nDo Not use heat to dry articles containing foam rubber, similarly textured rubber-like materials and other heat-sensitive fabrics. Always use No Heat/Fluff setting or line-dry.

nClean lint screen before or after each load.

nDo Not let dust, lint, paper, rags, chemicals, etc. pile up around or under the dryer or its exhaust

opening.

nThe interior of the dryer and exhaust system should be

cleaned periodically by a qualified person.

. Dryer must be electrically grounded. See Installation Instructions.

nDo Not operate the dryer if:

-it is not working properly (i.e. noisy, too hot).

-it is damaged.

-parts are missing (i.e. door latch).

-all panels are not in place.

-the lint screen is loose, damaged or missing.

m Unplug power supply cord or turn off electrical power before servicing the dryer. Shut off GAS VALVE if it is a gas dryer. Shut off gas valve before leaving on vacation if it is a gas model.
