2. WAN Interface Settings: The router supports 5 modes of WAN

connection, including Dynamic IP (DHCP), Static IP (Fixed), PPPoE, PPTP,

and L2TP. You may need to confirm with your ISP before selecting your

connecting modes.

•Dynamic IP (DHCP): L600N automatically obtains IP address, subnet

mask, and IP address of the gateway from the ISP.

•Static IP (Fixed): Select this If the ISP provides the IP address, subnet

mask, and information about the gateway and DNS server. You may

need to obtain the information from your ISP.

•PPPoE: Select this If your ISP provides dialup for user name and

password. DSL connection usually falls under here.

•PPTP: This is a method for implementing virtual private networks. You

connection falls here.

•L2TP: This is a method for implementing virtual private networks. You

will also need User Name and Password for this mode. Most VPN
