adding gasoline to THE FUEL tank
See Figure 8.
WARNING:
Gasoline and its vapors are highly flammable and explosive. To prevent serious personal injury and prop- erty damage, handle gasoline with care. Keep away from ignition sources, handle outdoors only, do not smoke while adding fuel, and wipe up spills immediately.
When adding gas to the pressure washer, make sure the unit is sitting on a flat, level surface and that the engine is not hot. If the engine is hot, let the pressure washer cool before adding gas. Always fill the fuel tank outdoors.
nMake sure the on/off switch is in the OFF ( O ) position.
nClose the fuel valve.
nBefore removing the fuel cap, clean the area around it. Remove the fuel cap.
nInsert a clean funnel into the fuel tank.
nSlowly pour gasoline into the fuel tank (always use the fuel filter screen when filling the fuel tank). Wipe any spilled fuel off the machine before starting.
NOTE: Do not fill above the top of the fuel filter screen or the gas may overflow when it heats up later and expands.
nReplace fuel cap and securely tighten.
nClean up any spills before starting the engine.
