Saitek 3D 590 2.1 Speaker System

Congratulations on buying the Saitek 3D 590 2.1 Speaker System.

The Saitek 3D 590 has a woofer unit and two dual driver satellite units plus bass contour control to give you enhanced bass and clear treble from any music source. Operating the Saitek 3D 590 is simple:

1Plug the AC power cord into the woofer unit’s AC in socket. Insert the mains plug into a wall socket and switch on.

2Plug the satellite speaker cables into the corresponding right (R) and left (L) speaker sockets on the woofer unit.

3Plug one end of the 3.5mm jackplug cable into the audio out socket of your PC, iPod, MP3 player, PSP etc, and the other end into the “input” socket on the woofer unit.

4Plug the remote control into the socket marked “remote” on the woofer unit.

5Power up the speaker system power by pressing the on/off switch on the woofer unit and the on/off switch on the remote control.

6With the 3D 590’s volume control at 0, turn on your music source, press Play and, using the remote control, adjust the volume level of your PC, iPod, MP3 player, PSP etc to three quarters. Now turn up the 3D 590’s volume to the desired listening level.

7You can use the remote bass contour control to adjust the frequency response of the speaker system to suit your listening environment. To increase bass boost, turn the bass contour control clockwise. To reduce bass boost, turn the bass contour control anti-clockwise.

8Do not use your 3D 590 at excessive volume levels. If your 3D 590 sounds distorted, turn down the volume and/or bass contour controls until the distortion stops.

Positioning the 2.1 speaker system

You can position the 3D 590 satellite speakers in three different ways to suit your listening environment and preferred sound.
