To hear an alert when you receive a new message:

1.Press Menu ( ) to access the main menu.

2.Select Messaging ( ).

3.Select Settings ( ).

4.Select Message Alerts ( ).

5.Select Alert Type ( ).

6.Select Voicemail ( ) or Text Message ( )

7.Select Single Tones, Ring Tones, or Melodies and press the navigation key down to highlight the ringer field.

8.Press the navigation key left or right to select the desired sound and press .
