•Als uw TV niet compatibel is met gecomprimeerde meerkanaalsindelingen (Dolby Digital, DTS), voert de speler mogelijk toch gewoon PCM audio in twee kanalen uit, ook al hebt u Bitstream (Re- encoded of Onbewerkt) hebt geselecteerd in het instellingenmenu.

•Als uw TV niet compatibel is met PCM- samplingfrequenties van meer dan 48 kHz, voert de speler mogelijk PCM-geluid uit waarvan de samplingfrequentie is teruggebracht naar 48 kHz, ook al hebt u PCM-downsampling ingesteld op Uit.

Dynamisch bereik instellen

U kunt luisteren op een laag geluidsniveau, maar de dialoog toch nog duidelijk horen.

Dit is alleen actief als uw speler een Dolby Digital- signaal detecteert.

•Auto : Het dynamisch bereik wordt automatisch ingesteld op basis van de informatie die wordt geleverd door het Dolby TrueHD-geluidsspoor.

•Uit : De film wordt afgespeeld met het standaard dynamische bereik.

•Aan : Wanneer u het geluidsspoor van de film afspeelt op laag volume of via kleinere luidsprekers, kan het systeem het geluid zodanig comprimeren dat zachte passages verstaanbaar blijven en intense passages niet te luid klinken.

Downmixingfunctie

U kunt instellen op welke manier de speler meerkanaalsgeluid terugbrengt tot een lager aantal kanalen.

• Normale stereo : Hiermee wordt meerkanaalsgeluid gedownmixt naar tweekanaals stereo. Kies deze optie wanneer de speler is aangesloten op apparatuur

die geen ondersteuning biedt voor virtuele surroundfuncties, zoals Dolby Pro Logic.

• Surround -compatibel : Het meerkanaalsgeluid wordt gereduceerd tot surround-compatibele stereo. Kies deze optie wanneer de speler is aangesloten op apparatuur die ondersteuning biedt voor virtuele surroundfuncties, zoals Dolby Pro Logic.
