Introduzione a MagicNet

MagicNet trasmette i file multimediali (foto, audio e filmati) e i file di Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, HTML e PDF) presenti su un server ai monitor tramite la rete Ethernet utilizzando l’architettura server/client.

Èpossibile collegare più monitor a un server. Ogni file può essere trasmesso a qualsivoglia monitor tramite la rete.

I file possono essere trasmessi in due modi: il server invia i file ai monitor dopo avere effettuato la registrazione con il programma; oppure il monitor cerca i file

registrati nella libreria del server, invia i file ai monitor e li riproduce dopo averli ricevuti tramite la rete.

Se sono collegati più server, è possibile selezionarne uno dal monitor e ricevere il programma. Ogni monitor è in grado di accedere a Internet autonomamente.

I server e i monitor sono collegati tramite la rete e ogni server ha un nome identico al relativo monitor, di modo che possano riconoscersi reciprocamente.

Di conseguenza, per stabilire un collegamento normale è necessario che il nome del server sia identico a quello dei relativi client.

Ad esempio, se il nome di un server è "MagicNet", solo i monitor impostati su "MagicNet" potranno collegarsi a questo server.

Se il nome del server non è compreso tra quelli impostati sul monitor, quest'ultimo attende fino a quando appare il server corrispondente.

Tuttavia, se la funzione di collegamento automatico è attivata, il monitor tenterà di collegarsi ad altri server e aprirà un collegamento con il primo server che invia una risposta.

MagicNet 2.0

che permette di controllare simultaneamente e con facilità più monitor da un unico PC. MDC controlla lo stato dei monitor che in genere si collegano tramite la rete.
