Connect the Optical cabl e between the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPT ICAL) jack on your TV and the Dig ital Audio Input
on the Home Theater.

When following the connec tion above, the Optical jack only ou tputs 2 channel audio. You will only hear s ound from
the Home Theater’s Front, Left and Righ t speakers and the subwoofer. If you want to hear 5.1 channel aud io, connect
the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL) ja ck on the DVD / Satellite Box (i.e. Anynet Device 1 o r 2) directly to the
Amplifier or Home The ater, not the TV.

You can connect only one Home The ater.

You can connect an Anynet+ device usin g the HDMI cable. Some HDMI cabl es may not support Anynet+ functi ons.

Anynet+ works when the AV device suppor ting Anynet+ is in the standby or on statu s.

Anynet+ supports up to 12 AV devices in total. Note that you ca n connect up to 3 devices of the same t ype.
Anynet+ Menu
The Anynet+ menu changes depending on the type and status of the Anynet+ devices connected to the TV.
Anynet+ Menu Description
View TV Changes Anynet+ mode to TV broadcast mode.
Device List Shows the Anynet+ device list.
(device_name) MENU Shows the connected device menus. E.g. If a DVD recorder is connected, the disc menu of
the DVD recorder will appear.
(device_name) INFO Shows the play menu of the connected device. E.g. If a DVD recorder is connected, the
play menu of the DVD recorder will appear.
Recording: (*recorder) Starts recording immediately using the recorder. (This is only available for devices that
support the recording function.)
Stop Recording: (*recorder) Stops recording.
Receiver Sound is played through the receiver.
If more than one recording device is connected, they are displayed as (*recorder) and if only one recording device is
connected, it will be represented as (*device_name).

Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) (Off / On): To use the Anynet+ Function, Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) must be set to On.
When the Anynet+ (HDMI- CEC) function is disabled, al l the Anynet+ related operations are dea ctivated.
Auto Turn Off (No / Yes): Setting an Anynet+ Device to turn off automatically when the TV is turned off.
If Auto Turn Off is set to Yes, running external d evices will turn off at the sam e time as the TV powers off.
However, a device may not turn off if record ing is in progress.
May not be enabled dependi ng on the device.
