CÓ MO DERRETIR MANTEQUILLA

Ponga 50 gramos de mantequilla en un plato hondo pequeño de cristal y cúbrala con una tapa de plástico. Caliéntela con una potencia de 850 W hasta que se derrita (30 ó 40 segundos).

CÓ MO DERRETIR CHOCOLATE

Ponga 100 gramos de chocolate en un plato hondo pequeño de cristal. Caliéntelo con una potencia de 450 W hasta que se derrita (de 3 a 5 minutos). Remueva una o dos veces durante el proceso.

CÓ MO DERRETIR MIEL CRISTALIZADA

Ponga 20 gramos de miel cristalizada en un plato hondo pequeño de cristal y calién- tela con una potencia de 300 W hasta que se derrita (20 ó 30 segundos).

CÓ MO DERRETIR GELATINA

Ponga a remojar las láminas de gelatina (10 gramos) en agua fría durante 5 minutos. Escúrralas y póngalas en un bol pequeño de cristal apto para microondas. Caliente la gelatina durante un minuto con una potencia de 300 W y remuévala una vez derretida.

GLASEADOS (PARA TARTAS Y PASTELES)

Mezcle aproximadamente 14 gramos de glaseado instantáneo con 40 gramos de azúcar y 250 ml de agua. Cueza esta mezcla sin taparla en un bol de cristal apto para microondas, con una potencia de 850 W, hasta que el glaseado esté transpar- ente (de 31/2 a 41/2 minutos). Remueva dos veces durante el proceso.

MERMELADAS

Ponga 600 gramos de fruta (por ejemplo una mezcla de fresas, moras, etc.) en un bol de cristal con tapa apto para microondas. Añada 300 gramos de azúcar para conservas y remueva bien. Cueza esta mezcla tapada durante 10 ó 12 minutos con una potencia de 850 W. Remueva varias veces durante la cocción y vierta la merme- lada directamente en envases pequeños con tapa de rosca. Deje reposar los envas- es encima de sus tapas durante 5 minutos.

NATILLAS

Mezcle el polvo para natillas con azúcar y leche (500 ml) siguiendo las instrucciones del fabricante y remueva bien. Ponga esta mezcla en un bol de cristal con tapa apto para microondas y cuézala tapada de 61/2 a 71/2 minutos con una potencia de 850 W.

Remueva varias veces durante la cocción.

CÓ MO TOSTAR RODAJAS DE ALMENDRAS

Extienda uniformemente 30 gramos de almendras en rodajas en un plato de cerámi- ca de tamaño mediano y tuéstelas de 3 1/2 a 41/2 minutos con una potencia de 600 W. Remueva varias veces durante el proceso y déjelas reposar de 2 a 3 minutos dentro del horno. ¡Utilice las manoplas de cocina para sacarlas del horno!
