BASIC GUIDELINES FOR OPERATION

1.Open the door and load your dishes (see page 16).

-Place dishes into the upper and lower racks, unless you have selected half load.

-Remove any food remains from the dishes before placing them in the rack(s).

-After placing the dishes into the racks, rotate the nozzles by hand to check whether any of the dishes will interfere with them.

-Make sure the dishes will not prevent the detergent dispenser from opening.

2.Add detergent to the dispenser (see page 18).

-Make sure to use only automatic dishwasher detergent.

-Refer to “Using the dispenser” on how to add detergent.

3.Close the door.

-Push the racks back so that they are in place, and then close the door.

-Make sure to close the door fi rmly. If the door is slightly ajar, the selected cycle will not start automatically

4.Touch the Power button.

-When you press the Power button, the entire display turns on and off, and then the cycle light of the most recently fi nished cycle lights up.

-If “Low Rinse” is illuminated, you should refi ll the rinse aid dispenser to improve washing and drying performance.

5.Select an appropriate cleaning cycle depending on the soil level of the dishes. (see pages 10 and 22).

-Touch the appropriate cycle button.

-When you touch a cycle button, the cycle indicator light is illuminated. If you touch the cycle button again, the light turns off and the cycle is canceled.

-For information about selecting a cycle according to the soil level of the dishes, see “Cycle Selector”.

6.Touch the Start/Drain button.

-The dishwasher will start draining after a few seconds, and then start the cycle you selected.

7.When the wash cycle is completed.

-The Clean light illuminates and the dishwasher sounds a chime.

-The power is automatically turned off after 10 minutes.

If you want to load more dishes or pause the dishwasher while it is already running, make sure to open CAUTION the door slowly and carefully as there is a possibility of injury from the hot steam inside the dishwasher.

(If the door is opened while the dishwasher is running, a safety mechanism is activated and stops the cycle.)

You should use rinse aids for better drying performance. You can further improve drying performance by also selecting the Sanitize option.

If the “Low rinse” lamp lights during a cycle, the dishwasher adds 30 more minutes to the Drying cycle automatically after the Clean light illuminates.

When the water temperature of the last rinse of the sanitize option reaches the sanitary temperature (over 155 ˚F (68 ˚C)), the Sanitize lamp blinks, and then remains illuminated until the Sanitze option ends. When you open the door or press the Power button, the “Sanitize” lamp turns off.

Samsung has established itself as a leader in home appliance technology, and the DW80F600UTB, DW80F600UTW, and DW80F600UTS dishwashers exemplify the brand's commitment to quality, efficiency, and innovative design. Each model in this lineup shares core features but also brings unique characteristics that cater to diverse consumer needs.

One of the standout features across all three models is Samsung's StormWash technology. This revolutionary cleaning system utilizes a rotating spray arm with powerful jets to ensure that even the toughest food remnants are removed. This means less pre-rinsing and superior cleaning performance, allowing users to save time and water.

Another significant characteristic is the capacity these dishwashers offer. With a spacious interior, they can accommodate up to 15 place settings, making them ideal for families or those who frequently host gatherings. The adjustable rack system provides flexibility in loading, enabling users to fit larger pots and pans alongside standard dishes without hassle.

Samsung understands that noise levels are a key concern in kitchen appliances. Hence, all three models are designed to operate at an impressively quiet sound level, around 48 dBA, which is comparable to a library's ambiance. This feature is especially desirable for open-concept living spaces, where minimizing noise can enhance the overall home experience.

Energy efficiency is another hallmark of the DW80F600 series. These dishwashers are Energy Star certified, meaning they meet rigorous energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This translates to reduced electricity bills and a smaller environmental footprint, allowing consumers to do their part for sustainability.

In terms of user convenience, the DW80F600UTB, DW80F600UTW, and DW80F600UTS all feature a sleek, modern design with intuitive controls. The digital touch panel provides easy access to various cycles and options, including a delay start function, which allows users to set the dishwasher to run at a later time.

Moreover, the models include a high-temperature wash option for sanitization, ensuring that kitchenware is not only clean but also hygienic. The stainless steel interior resists odors and is less prone to staining, contributing to the longevity of the appliance.

In summary, the Samsung DW80F600UTB, DW80F600UTW, and DW80F600UTS dishwashers are an excellent choice for any modern kitchen due to their combination of advanced cleaning technologies, energy efficiency, spacious design, and user-friendly features. Whether you’re a busy family, a culinary enthusiast, or someone who values efficiency, these models cater to a wide range of needs while ensuring exceptional performance and reliability.
