Είναι προτιμότερο να τραβάτε φωτογραφίες με τον ήλιο πίσω σας. Εάν τραβάτε φωτογραφίες με τον ήλιο απέναντί σας, οι φωτογραφίες μπορεί να βγουν σκοτεινές. Για να τραβήξετε μια φωτογραφία με το φως απέναντί σας, χρησιμοποιήστε το [Οπίσθιος φωτισμός] σε τρόπο λειτουργίας λήψης σκηνής (βλ. σελίδα 25), φλας συμπλήρωσης (βλ. σελίδα 33), μέτρηση έκθεσης σημείου (βλ. σελίδα 44), αντιστάθμιση έκθεσης (βλ. σελίδα. 39) ή τη λειτουργία ACB (βλ. σελίδα 47).

Μη φράζετε το φακό ή το φλας όταν τραβάτε φωτογραφίες. Συνθέστε τη φωτογραφία χρησιμοποιώντας την οθόνη LCD. Σε συγκεκριμένες συνθήκες το σύστημα αυτόματης εστίασης μπορεί να μη λειτουργεί όπως αναμένεται.

-Όταν φωτογραφίζετε ένα αντικείμενο που έχει μικρή αντίθεση.

-Εάν το αντικείμενο είναι εξαιρετικά αντανακλαστικό ή λαμπερό.

-Εάν το αντικείμενο κινείται με υψηλή ταχύτητα.

-Όταν υπάρχει έντονο ανακλώμενο φως ή όταν το φόντο είναι πολύ φωτεινό.

-Όταν το υλικό του αντικειμένου φωτογράφισης έχει μόνο οριζόντιες γραμμές ή το αντικείμενο είναι πολύ στενό (όπως μια βέργα ή ένα κοντάρι σημαίας).

-Όταν το γύρω περιβάλλον είναι σκοτεινό.
