Optinen zoom

Tämä on yleiszoom, jossa kuvia suurennetaan linssillä ja joka ei heikennä kuvien laatua.

Laatu

Ilmaiseen digitaalikuvassa käytetyn pakkauksen astetta. Korkeampilaatuisten kuvien pakkausaste on pienempi, jolloin tiedostokoko on tavallisesti suurempi.

Tarkkuus

Valkotasapaino (väritasapaino)

Värien intensiteetin (tavallisesti perusvärien punainen, vihreä ja sininen) säätö kuvassa. Valkotasapainon tai väritasapainon tarkoitus on toistaa kuvan värit oikein.
