När kameran inte används, stäng av kamerans strömförsörjning. Ta helst ut batteriet om kameran inte ska användas under en lång tidsperiod. Batteriet kan förlora sin laddning allteftersom tiden går, och har en tendens att läcka om det förvaras inuti kameran.

Låga temperaturer (under 0°C) kan påverka batteriets funktionalitet och du kan få erfara minskad batteri-livslängd.

Batteriet återhämtar sig för det mesta vid normala temperaturer.

Under lång användning av kameran kan kameralådan bli varm. Detta är helt normalt. Det är lätt att köpa alkaliska batterier. Varaktigheten vid användning av batterier varierar emellertid alltefter deras fabrikat eller de fotografiska förutsättningarna

Använd inte manganbatterier, eftersom manganbatterier inte kan leverera tillräckligt med ström.
