Разделителна способност

Броят пиксели в едно цифрово изображение. Изображенията

ввисока разделителна способност съдържат повече пиксели и обикновено показват повече детайли, отколкото изображенията с малка разделителна способност.

Скорост на затвора

Скоростта на затвора означава количеството време, което отнема отварянето и затварянето на затвора, и е важен фактор в яркостта на една снимка, тъй като контролира количеството светлина, което преминава през блендата, преди да достигне сензора на изображение. Бързата скорост на затвора позволява по-малко време за навлизане на светлината и снимката става по=тъмна и по-лесно "замразява" обектите в движение.
