Valor de apertura

La apertura es un agujero a través del cual se admite la luz. Puede ajustar el valor de apertura para controlar el nivel luz que llega a la lente cuando toma una fotografía. Al disminuir el valor de apertura (abriendo más la apertura), entrará más luz, y los objetos que estén muy alejados se mostrarán fuera de foco. Esto es bueno para tomas en primer plano o retratos para que la atención se centre en el sujeto principal.

Por otro lado, al incrementar el valor de apertura, los objetos de cerca a los más lejanos están en foco. Esto es bueno para tomas de paisajes para que se muestre la escena en su totalidad.

Velocidad del obturador

La velocidad del obturador controla cuánto tiempo el obturador de la cámara permanecerá abierto al tomar una fotografía. Cuando disminuye la velocidad del obturador, más luz ingresa a la cámara, lo cual hace que la fotografía sea más clara. Sin embargo, una velocidad de obturador más lenta puede dar como resultado fotos borrosas si el sujeto o la cámara está en movimiento.

Cuando aumenta la velocidad del obturador, la foto se muestra más oscura. Sin embargo, una velocidad de obturador más rápida, también reducirá las imágenes borrosas si el sujeto o la cámara está en movimiento.
