Režiimi Avaprioriteet, Säriprioriteet või Käsitsi kasutamine

Fotode säritust saab reguleerida ava väärtuse ja säriajaga. Neid valikuid saab kasutada režiimides Avaprioriteet, Säriprioriteet ja Käsitsi.

Ava väärtus

Apertuur on ava, mis laseb kaamerasse valgust. Apertuuri korpus sisaldab õhukesi metallplaate mis avanevad ja sulgevad, et apertuuri laiendada või kitsendada ning võimaldada valgusel kaamerasse siseneda. Ava suurus on tihedalt seotud foto heledusega: mida suurem on ava, seda heledam on foto; mida väiksem on ava, seda tumedam on foto. Suurem apertuuri väärtus tähendab väiksemat apertuuri mõõtu. Näiteks ava väärtusega 5.6 tähendab suuremat ava kui 11.

Säriaeg

Säriaeg on foto ereduse puhul oluline faktor, see viitab ajale mis kulub katiku avanemiseks ja sulgemiseks. Aeglane säriaeg laseb kaamerasse suurema valguskoguse. Kui tingimused ei muutu, tuleb foto eredam, kuid kiirelt liikuvad objektid hägustuvad. Teisalt, kiire säriaeg laseb kaamerasse väiksema valguskoguse. Fotod on tumedamad, kuid liikuvad objektid on pildistatud selgemalt.
