•Pirmās mapes noklusējuma nosaukums ir 100PHOTO, bet pirmā faila noklusējuma nosaukums ir SAM_0001.

•Ikreiz, kad uzņemat fotoattēlu vai ierakstāt video, faila numurs palielinās par vienu vienību no SAM_0001 līdz SAM_9999.

•Mapju numuri palielinās pēc kārtas, sākot no 100PHOTO līdz pat 999PHOTO.

•Maksimālais vienā mapē saglabājamo failu skaits ir 9999.

•Kamera nosaka failu nosaukumus atbilstoši kameras failu sistēmas izveides (Design rule for Camera File system — DCF) standarta prasībām. Ja ar nolūku tiks mainīti failu nosaukumi, kamera, iespējams, nevarēs atskaņot failus.
