Voit ohjata kuvien valotusta säätämällä aukkoarvoa tai suljinnopeutta. Seuraavat vaihtoehdot ovat käytettävissä aukkoautomatiikka- ja suljinautomatiikkatilassa sekä manuaalisessa tilassa.

Aukkoarvo

Aukko säätelee sitä, paljonko valoa kameraan pääsee. Aukkokotelossa on ohuita metallilevyjä, jotka avautuvat ja sulkeutuvat ja päästävät valoa aukon läpi kameraan. Aukon koko liittyy läheisesti kuvan kirkkauteen. Mitä suurempi aukko, sitä kirkkaampi valokuva; mitä pienempi aukko, sitä tummempi valokuva.

Suljinnopeus

Suljinnopeus tarkoittaa, kauanko sulkimen avautumiseen ja sulkeutumiseen kuluu. Se on tärkeä kuvan kirkkauteen vaikuttava ominaisuus. Pieni suljinnopeus päästää enemmän valoa sisään, joten valokuvasta tulee kirkkaampi.
