My Camera > Shooting modes

1On the Mode screen, touch Expert Aperture Priority.

2Press the command dial once, and then rotate it to the left or right to adjust the aperture value.

3Set the desired options.

For a list of options, refer to "Shooting Functions". (p. 73)

4Half-press [Shutter] to focus, and then press [Shutter] to capture the photo.

In low-light settings, you may need to increase the ISO sensitivity to prevent

blurred photos.

To set the minimum shutter speed, in Shooting mode, touch 1 Minimum Shutter Speed an option.

Shutter Priority mode

In Shutter Priority mode, the camera automatically adjusts the aperture value according to the shutter speed you choose. This mode is useful for capturing photos of fast-moving subjects or for creating tracer effects in a photo.

For example, set the shutter speed to over 1/500 s to freeze the subject. To make the subject appear blurred set the shutter speed to below 1/30 s.
