Kamera tallentaa valokuvat joko JPEG- tai RAW-muodossa.

Kameran ottamat kuvat muunnetaan usein JPEG-muotoon ja tallennetaan muistiin kameran kuvausaikaisten asetusten mukaisesti. RAW-tiedostoja ei muunneta JPEG-muotoon, vaan ne tallennetaan muistiin sellaisinaan.

RAW-tiedostojen tunniste on "SRW". Voit säätää ja kalibroida RAW- tiedostojen valotusta, valkotasapainoa, sävyjä, kontrastia ja värejä tai muuntaa tiedostot JPEG- tai TIFF-muotoon kameran mukana toimitetulla DVD-ROM-levyllä olevalla Adobe Photoshop Lightroom -ohjelmalla.

RAW-tiedostot ovat hyvin suuria, joten jos haluat käyttää tätä tallennusmuotoa, varmista, että muistikortissa on tarpeeksi tilaa.
